Ask me about lottery numbers....
... because Mars and I are officially living in the future (15.5 hours ahead of TO)! We arrived in Oz with all of our luggage and our flights (mostly) on time. For everyone who knows my travel dramas, that is truly a SHOCK! Total travel time was 26 hours and it is currently 20 degrees in Adelaide tonight (woo-hoo). We are at Glen's house now, and I have already been treated to the Aussie delights of Tim Tams and Milo... lots and lots of sugar to keep me awake. Fortunately I already tried Veggimite (sp?) last time Glen came to visit, so I don't have to endure that "traditional dish" again! (I'd seriously rather more Guinea Pig). I am in desperate need of a shower and dinner, but not necessarily in that order. My body has no idea what time it is right now, but I seem to be in a bit better shape than Mars, who is struggling to keep her eyes open. Unlike Tom, I am trying to get myself on Aussie time ASAP so I'm going to try not to sleep for another few hours. Will post again when we have more exciting news other than that we arrived alive!
Arriving alive is good news! Congrats on making it to Ozzy land!
ReplyDelete20 degrees??! I hate you two.
ReplyDeleteI had to trudge through snow this morning to a broken down subway!!
Great to hear you made it, and that all went well! Kimberly, leave those guinea pigs alone!
